The Key to Accessing Publications Online

Do you know that the digital age makes it possible to access over a million publications online? Yes, you can!

Only that some times, the free access publications may not just be what you want. Again, you can get exactly what you want once you have the unlock key which is the DOI!
DOI is an acronym for Digital Object Identifier, which is a string of numbers, letters, and symbols used to permanently identify an article or document and link to it on the web. You may also Think of it as a Social Security number for an article, mostly journals.
A typical DOI is a link that should be written exactly as http://doi.org/10 then followed by numbers 10 and other annotations that could still be numbers, letters, and punctuations as the case may be.
Do not forget that a DOI is your unlock key. Now, how can you use DOI as an unlock key? Go to SCI-HUB, enter the DOI correctly, and gbam! Your desired publication which may only be available at hard currency cost is all yours for download.
SCI-HUB founded by in 2011 in Kazakhstan is the initiative of Alexandra Elbakyan, a female web developer in response to the high cost of research papers behind paywalls. Interestingly, she started programming since 12! This is a discussion for another day.
Today, I have been able to share knowledge of accessing publications with financial ease.
So try it out now and feel free to give your feedback on [email protected] (Copy email please).

For me, engaging in research is a passion that should be limited by absolutely nothing!
